Our Mission is to make all of the available information on all maritime, marine, nautical, oceanographic subjects relatively easy to find, obtain, and use. We view our blog as a public service. We do not attempt to duplicate information and always try to link you to the best already available information. When you check into our main blog http://americanadmiraltybooks.blogspot.com/  one of the features on the first window that you encounter titled our "STATION IDENTIFICATION AND NOTICE BOARD" is "THE BIG LINKS LOCKER". This feature isn't every link found in our blog by a long shot but it is a very comprehensive set of maritime links. In case any of our primary blog readers wandered in here by accident we have recreated that THE BIG LINKS LOCKER BELOW. All links below should be live, no need to try and find your way back

THE BIG LINKS LOCKER:

UNLOCKING THE MARITIME WORLD: Our mission is literally to  unlock the maritime world by making all English language maritime data easy to find,  available, evaluated when possible, and affordable. We suggest checking our subject pages to your right first, by clicking on the subject section most like your particular interest. These pages will bring you to short introductions,  free links, free videos, book reviews and book lists on the subjects. If that doesn't answer your question come back here and click any of the "super links" below that appear most appropriate, the broadest and most general is hyper linked just below. This is an entire web site of nothing but links to maritime websites and blogs of every description.

NEWS OF NAMAZU THE EARTH SHAKER
NAMAZU, giant Japanese catfish former demigod, turned maritime analyst
Namazu is our senior maritime analyst and star commentator, many visitors check in just to see what the giant catfish has to say lately.  His description of any post he publishes on a given day is found on our Station Identification and Notice Board for the day: http://americanadmiraltybooks.blogspot.com/
What we are creating here is an archive of his older posts. When completed readers of his posts from any given day will be able to go straight to the Namazu archive to review past posts on similar subjects without scrolling and picking through non-Namazu material ( which the Great Catfish refers to "flotsam and jetsam")
